In the all-weather sports grounds and extensive indoor facilities of both our Malahide rugby, club venues, in Malahide.
Malahide Afterschool Academy (MAA) offers a premium after school environment for girls and boys aged 4 to 12 years. Parents can be confident their children will be healthy and happy, learning interesting new skills from trained staff in a relaxed atmosphere.
The venues at Malahide rugby, club have the approval of the MAA Quality Assurance Programme. Its full size all weather pitch, grass pitches and great indoor facilities allow students to rest and play, far from video screens or smartphones. Malahide rugby, club are highly accessible and close to the M50.
Our team of drivers, in fully certified vehicles, can collect students from dozens of schools in North Dublin and deliver them to MAA.
MAA teaches an age appropriate sports, such as, Soccer, Mini Tag Rugby, Mini Tennis, Cricket, GAA, Rounder’s and Table Tennis along with indoor activities like Arts & Crafts, Speech & Drama, Board Games along with Supervised Free Play. All our staff are trained in First Aid.

WHERE EVERYDAY IS A PLAY DATE
COLLECTION FROM SCHOOL
Our team of drivers, in fully certified vehicles, can collect students from dozens of schools in North Dublin and deliver them to MAA.
NUTRITIOUS MEALS
MAA provide a hot nutritional dinner each day, along with a healthy snack at break time.
Our menu is carefully devised to follow the Department of Health’s Food and Nutritional Guidelines. Our menu includes a variety of different dishes, supplementing children’s favourites and dishes which are culturally diverse.
Special diets based on parental preference, cultural or religious beliefs and health or allergy issues are provided for.
HOMEWORK
Our MAA Team provide supervised homework daily in a quiet and separate room to any activities going on, to help concentration and focus.
Homework is supervised by a member of our well-trained staff, we then ask that parents check their children’s homework when they get home.
AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES
Every day along with a specialized activity, all the children can choose from a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors. Our main aim is that once the children have their lunch and finished their homework, they are active and outside as much as possible..
